Recently there has been an increase in the amount of students deaths caused by poor medical services by university medical units. A recent example is the death of a student of Michael Okpara University which was blamed at the inability of the schools medical unit to provide basic medical first aids.

For the sake of this debate, a student morality score is a credit scheme where students behaviour is measured on a scale by university management. Actions like volunteering, political participation and extra-curricular activities can contribute to an increase in your morality score. While activities like fighting, exam malpractice, political apathy can contribute to a low score.
